|生化机理||Pyrrolidinedithiocarbamic acid (PDTC) ammonium salt is a potent inhibitor of NF κB (Nuclear Factor κB). Experiments show that micromolar amounts of this compound suppress IL-1β and completely inhibit the increase of nitric oxide synthase mRNA in response to IL-1β. Further studies suggest that PDTC ammonium salt also displays metal-ion chelating and antioxidant characteristics.|
