This paper demonstrates a simple and effective approach to fabricate highly crystalline poly(2,5-dimethoxyaniline) (PDMA) nanoplates using various organic sulfonic acids including Dodecyl benzenesulfonic acid (DBSA), Camphorsulfonic acid (CSA) and p -Toluenesulfonic Acid ( p -TSA) as the dopant agents. The structures and morphologies of PDMA nanoplates were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, Raman spectrometer, X-ray diffraction, Atom force microscope and Electron microscope. The results show that the PDMA nanoplates possess high crystallinity and layered nanoplate aggregation structure. The estimated degree of crystallinity is higher than 95 %. With different organic sulfonic acids used, the aggregation structures of PDMA nanoplates vary from triclinic hexahedron to cuboid and rod shape. Through adjusting the dopant agent/monomer molar ratio, the yield of PDMA nanoplates can be as high as 53 %.

Polypyrrole (PPy) was deposited onto carbon fiber felt (CFF) by in-situ polymerization to prepare CFF/PPy composite textile as free-standing and flexible electrode for supercapacitor. Electrochemical performance was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance (EIS) and constant current charge-discharge technology. The results show that the doping of organic sulfonic acid further improved the electrochemical performance of electrode materials. Areal capacitance, energy density and power density of the CFF/PPy/TsOH are as high as 5943 mF·cm −2 , 1739 µWh·cm −2 , 1450 µW·cm −2 , respectively (at a current density of 0.8 mA·cm −2 ). Overall, this flexible textile electrode is promising to be used as wearable electronic device.
Despite rapid development of perovskite nanocrystal (PeNC) light-emitting diodes (LEDs), it remains challenging to achieve efficient and stable blue PeLEDs , especially for pure-blue PeLEDs required for displays. Mixed halide CsPb(Br/Cl) 3 NC is a common strategy to achieve pure-blue emission, but suffers from low photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) and spectra instability. Here, a facile approach for the synthesis of high-quality pure-blue emitting CsPb(Br/Cl) 3 NCs is reported by introducing an organic sulfonate, phenyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (PTFMS), which works as an efficient surface passivator. As a result, the optimized PeNCs achieve a high PLQY of 85% and enhanced conductivity. Furthermore, the LED based on the optimized PeNCs is developed with pure-blue emission at 469 nm, which yields an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 1.20% and luminance of 355 cd m −2 . More impressively, the device shows excellent spectra and operation stability under voltage bias , resulting from the suppressed ion migration channels by efficient defect passivation .
