The printing quality of silver pastes is critically dependent on their rheological properties, particularly for the front-side fine-grid system of TOPCon solar cells. This study investigates the synergistic optimization of printing quality and rheology in front-side fine-grid silver pastes for TOPCon cells. Employing three-stage shear tests (3ITT) and yield stress measurements, we systematically evaluated the effects of A-type short-chain silicone levellers and B-type polyacrylate levellers, across varying dosages, on the paste's initial viscosity, thixotropy, recovery kinetics, and printed grid morphology. Results demonstrate that incorporating 0.2 wt% silicone leveller (A-S-0.2 system) significantly enhances paste recovery, achieving 87 % recovery at 17 s with t 50 < 1 s. This performance markedly surpasses both the control group and B-series samples, ensuring morphological stability during screen printing and pre-sintering. Continuous production-line printing verification revealed that formulations A-S-0.23 and A-S-0.25 achieved aspect ratios of 28.9 % and 34.2 %, respectively. Consequently, series resistance was reduced by 19.2 %–26.9 %, and conversion efficiency increased from 26.19 % to 26.59 %. Analysis indicates that the leveller achieves a precise "shear-softening–structural-reconstruction" balance by reducing particle surface energy and suppressing viscosity hysteresis, thereby effectively inhibiting lateral spreading and morphology collapse. This work provides essential design concepts and a theoretical foundation for high-precision fine-grid printing and the fabrication of highly efficient TOPCon devices.

Suspension is the common preparation whose absorption rate is second only to the solution. However, problems like the difficulty in screening excipients and the complicated screening process limit its application to a certain extent. In this study, trimethoprim (TMP) was used as the research object. Compound sulfachlorpyridazine sodium Powder(CSSP) containing TMP was used as the research vector to explore the effects of wetting agent(WA), mixing processes between excipients and drug on the preparation stability from the perspectives of the change of the surface free energy between the drug powder and solvent, the reduction of the particle size of the drug, and the interaction between the drug and the excipients, serving the contact angle, sedimentation volume ratio, re-dispersibility, particle size, and appearance as indicators. In addition to that, taking the number density distribution, mean square displacement (MSD), and van der Waals force (VDW) as indicators, the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation technique was employed to explore the differences in the wetting ability of wetting agents (WAs) and the wetting mechanism of WAs on drug molecules. Suitable indicators were screened to provide new ideas for the initial screening of wetting agents from the simulation level and other solutions in tedious and time-consuming problems of experimental excipients screening.

In this paper, a series of self-crosslinking waterborne polyurethane (WPU) dispersions with side chain, which is (3-(2-Aminoethyl)aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane (AEAPTMS) as the diamine chain extender, were prepared. The characteristics of WPU with different dosages of AEAPTMS were evaluated, including particle size, crystallinity, surface performance, water resistance and thermal stability. It was demonstrated that AEAPTMS was successfully incorporated into the WPU from Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Once the content of AEAPTMS increased to 5 %, the WPU dispersions became gelatinous. That is, the siloxane groups were hydrolyzed into a cross-linked structure during the emulsification process. The particle size enlarged with the increasing dosage of AEAPTMS in transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that the silane in the cross-linked WPU migrated freely towards the WPU film surface. The addition of AEAPTMS enhanced the tensile strength, hydrophobicity, water resistance and thermal stability of WPU film. Meanwhile, the elongation at break and crystallinity of WPU films were declined. Besides, interestingly, the glass transition temperature of WPU films followed the trend of first rising and then falling. By adding wetting agent, antifoaming agent, adhesion promoter and flatting agent into WPU, the water-based varnish was prepared. The pencil hardness, water resistance, adhesion and anti-adhesion of water-based varnish were best in the application on the stainless steel substrate when the WPU sample was Si-WPU-3.
