Graphical The development of Zn ion energy storage devices is seriously hindered by the drawbacks of dendrite growth, low coulomb efficiency, and volume expansion in the plating/stripping process of Zn metal electrodes. In this paper, the electrode which optimized by chemically plating Sn on Cu foam with high surface area and high HER overpotential can provide a large number of active sites for homogeneous nucleation of Zn metal and alleviate HER side reactions, thus improving the reversibility of Zn electrodeposition. Zn ion energy storage devices have received widespread attention because of their high safety, environmental friendliness, low cost, and high energy density. However, Zn metal anodes usually suffer from disadvantages such as dendrite growth, low coulombic efficiency, and volume expansion during plating/stripping, which severely hampers the practical applications. Here, we construct 3D Zn frameworks by exploring different conductive hosts and modify 3D hosts by plating Sn to suppress Zn dendrites and side reactions. The electrode which optimized by electroplating Zn after chemically plating Sn on Cu foam (Sn−Cu foam@Zn) exhibits stable polarization voltage distribution and almost 100% coulombic efficiency over 200 cycles of Zn plating/stripping. Furthermore, when pairing with V 2 O 5 cathode, the full cell showed fast reaction kinetics and a capacity of 113 mAh g −1 after 1000 cycles at a current density of 1 A g −1 , which is 90.4% of the initial capacity. This work provides a new strategy for the development of high-performance Zn anodes.

In this study, 45 steel was taken as the research object, and a tin-iron alloy layer was prepared on its surface via a thermal diffusion tinning process. Combined with a series of characterization methods, the microstructure and element distribution of the thermal diffusion layer were systematically analyzed. Additionally, through cyclic immersion tests, electrochemical measurements, and outdoor exposure tests in marine atmosphere, the effects of thermal diffusion temperature and tin content in the diffusion agent on the structure and corrosion resistance of the thermal diffusion layer were systematically investigated. The results show that thermal diffusion tinning can form an alloy layer dominated by FeSn2 on the surface of 45 steel. Moreover, the higher the thermal diffusion temperature and the greater the tin content in the diffusion agent, the larger the thickness (up to 15 μm) and the better the compactness of the alloy layer. The corrosion resistance of the tinned steel is significantly better than that of 45 steel, and it is further improved with the increase of thermal diffusion temperature, tin content, and extension of thermal diffusion time. Among them, the tinned steel prepared under the thermal diffusion process of 80%-280°C-4h exhibits a corrosion current density of 4.027 μA · cm -2 , which is only 1/400 of that of 45 steel (12.095 μA · cm -2 ), and demonstrates the latest corrosion initiation and slowest development rate in marine atmospheric exposure. The key factors contributing to the improved corrosion resistance are the stable structure of FeSn 2 intermetallic compounds in the thermal diffusion layer, the physical barrier effect of the dense alloy layer, and the protective rust layer formed during the corrosion process.

To broaden the advanced applications of polybenzoxazine resin in the field of metal corrosion protection, main chain benzoxazine (BA-ddm) and diamine benzoxazine (Ph-hda) were first synthesized and then compounded to fabricate copolymer (PB5). Simultaneously, polyetheramine (PEA) grafted hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanosheets (PEA- g -BNNS) were prepared by chemical exfoliation and surface modification through Lewis acid–base interaction. PEA- g -BNNS was subsequently blended with PB5 copolymer solution, followed by coating and thermal curing on the surface of tinplate to obtain PEA- g -BNNS/PBZ nanocomposite coatings. The structure and morphology of PBZ nanocomposite coatings were investigated by FTIR, XRD, 1 HNMR, and HRSEM. The hydrophilicity-hydrophobicity, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance of PBZ nanocomposite coatings were characterized through contact angle, TGA, and electrochemical tests. Microstructure characterization results of fillers and PBZ nanocomposite coatings verified the successful functionalization of PEA- g -BNNS and fabrication of PBZ nanocomposite coatings. The contact angle of PEA- g -BNNS/PBZ coatings reached up to 119.6°. The TGA test showed that the 2% PEA- g -BNNS/PBZ coating had excellent thermal stability. The electrochemical test showed that the PEA- g -BNNS/PBZ coating had good corrosion resistance. Among them, the 2% PEA- g -BNNS/PBZ coating exhibited the best anti-corrosion performance. Even when immersed in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution for 20 days, the |Z| 0.01 Hz value remained 2.00 × 10 10 Ω cm 2 .
