Here, we report a high-performance catalyst MoS x @HSSZ-39 for conversion of CO x to C 2–4 hydrocarbons, in which MoS x clusters for CO x hydrogenation at the first to intermediate methanol and then the zeolitic acid sites surrounding for further conversion of methanol to hydrocarbons. For CO 2 hydrogenation, C 2–4 hydrocarbons of ∼90% selectivity in organic products at 32.7% of CO 2 conversion and excellent stability of 1000 h on stream are obtained. For CO hydrogenation, 95% of C 2–4 hydrocarbons, 83% of LPG or 74% of propane selectivities at > 22% CO conversion and stable more than 200 h on stream are obtained. The cooperation among the MoS x clusters and the zeolitic acid sites constitutes the catalyst of intimate bifunction, which is the key to the high catalytic performance for CO x hydrogenation.
We report here a high-performance catalyst ReMoS x @HSSZ-39 compounded with SAPO-34 for conversion of CO 2 to C 2-4 hydrocarbons, in which the ReMoS x clusters are responsible for highly efficient hydrogenation of CO 2 to methanol as the intermediate and then the surrounding zeolitic acid sites for further conversion of methanol to hydrocarbons. The investigation finds that uniform ReMoS x clusters can be reliably fabricated in zeolitic cages by co-introduction of rhenium and molybdenum species into the HSSZ-39 zeolite and followed by sulfidation, which constitutes an intimate bifunction catalyst through better cooperation of ReMoS x clusters and the zeolitic acid sites. Compared with MoS x @HSSZ-39, the introduction of rhenium significantly suppresses CO generation. By mixing some SAPO-34 zeolite, with increased density of protonic acid, more than 86 % C 2-4 hydrocarbons in organic products and only 21 % CO at 32.5 % of CO 2 conversion are obtained and the composite catalyst shows excellent stability with more than 95 % C 2-4 hydrocarbons in organic products, less than 30 % CO and above 26.6 % of CO 2 conversion after 1000 h on stream.
