This paper reports two new Cd(II)-based coordination polymers which are formulated as {[(CH 3 ) 2 NH 2 ][Cd(btc)]} n ·n(DMF) ( 1 ) as well as [Cd 3 (btc) 2 (2-bpmh)(H 2 O) 6 ]} n ·3n(H 2 O) ( 2 ) (H 3 btc = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, 2-bpmh = N , N -bis-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-hydrazine) under the solvothermal reaction conditions, compounds 1 – 2 exhibit intense luminescence emission and excellent photocatalytic property for MB decomposition under the light irradiation of UV. For the children lobar pneumonia treatment, we use ELISA detection kits to determine the TNF-α and IL-1β levels released by the lung epithelial cells. In addition to this, we can also determine the NF-κB’s activation levels by real-time RT-PCR.
Reactions of polycarboxylate ligand (2,2′-H 2 bpdc or H 3 OABDC), N-donor auxiliary ligand (4-bpmh) with Cd(II) salts under solvothermal conditions resulted in two coordination polymers formulated as [Cd(2,2′-bpdc)(4-bpmh)(H 2 O)] n ·n(H 2 O) ( 1 ) and [Cd 3 (OABDC) 2 (4-bpmh) 2 (H 2 O) 4 ] n ·2n(H 2 O) ( 2 ) (2,2′-H 2 bpdc = diphenic acid, H 3 OABDC = 5-oxyacetate isophthalic acid, and 4-bpmh is N,N-bis-pyridin-4-ylmethylene-hydrazine). Meanwhile, the investigations of luminescent performances and thermal stabilities suggest that the two compounds are candidate materials for the fluorescent emitting material. The assessment of their application values on the infantile bronchial pneumonia was carried out and their specific mechanism was investigated in the meantime.
