Graphical In this paper, 2D MOF-Co, 2D MOF-Co/Cu, and 2D MOF-Co/Cu/Fe are designed and prepared using 1,4-benzendicarboxylic acid (1,4-BDC) as organic ligands. Their charge transfer, separation efficiency, and effects on photocatalytic CO 2 reduction are studied. The results show that 2D multimetallic MOF-Co/Cu/Fe has better photocatalytic CO 2 reduction activity, so it has higher research value and development prospect in the field of photocatalytic CO 2 reduction. In this study, 2D multimetallic MOFs combined with the advantages of 2D nanosheets, with the synergetic effect of multimetallic nodes, exhibited good photocatalytic activity for reduction of CO 2 . Herein, a 2D MOF-Co/Cu/Fe were successfully prepared via one-pot stirring of the solutions of multimetal salts and organic ligands at room temperature. Introduction of the second and third metal (Cu and Fe) into MOF-Co does not change the 2D morphology of MOFs, although it improved the photocatalytic CO 2 reduction performance by broadening the light absorption range of 2D MOF-Co, accelerating the separation efficiency and transfer rate of photogenerated carriers. Upon irradiation with full-spectrum light, the average CO yield of 2D MOF-Co/Cu/Fe achieved 17.06 µmol·g −1 ·h −1 , being about 1.8 and 1.2 times that of 2D MOF-Co and 2D MOF-Co/Cu. This work provides an insight into 2D multimetallic MOFs-based photocatalysts in catalytic CO 2 reduction.

In this work, a string of different proportion trimetallic loaded the N-doped hollow porous carbon nanospheres (N-HPCS@Co Cu Fe NSs) were successfully crafted by a simple and economical method. Herein, the hollow-carbon structure was formed by etching carbon nanospheres. Moreover, owing to the presence of the PDA and P123, high dispersed nano spheres with mesopores were obtained. By this way, the catalyst can expose unique internal cavity and short transport path. Meanwhile, trimetal-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) Co Cu Fe alloy nano spheres (Co Cu Fe NSs) are first prepared. Creatively, PDA acts as the carbon resource, nitrogen resource and metal grafting agent simultaneously. Through a series of tests, N-HPCS@Co 1 Cu 1 Fe NSs has the best electrocatalytic performance and durable stability. This work highlights the current advances of hollow porous carbon structure, trimetallic active sites and N-doping, as well as, endow high electrocatalytic activity and durability for HER and OER .
In order to improve the performance of intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFCs), the effect of partial substitution of the transition metal M = Co, Cu, Fe and Mn for Ni in Nd 2 NiO 4+δ on the crystal chemistry, electrical conductivity , thermal stability, chemical reactivity with YSZ electrolyte and electrochemical performance has been systematically investigated. The electrochemical performances of the cathode materials are tested on planar NiO-YSZ anode-supported cells fabricated with YSZ as electrolyte in size of 50 mm × 50 mm. Compared to Nd 2 NiO 4+δ , each Nd 2 Ni 0.9 M 0.1 O 4+δ material shows a decrease in electrical conductivity and an increase in lattice volume, oxygen vacancy concentration and chemical reactivity with YSZ electrolyte. The cell with Nd 2 Ni 0.9 Co 0.1 O 4+δ cathode achieves the maximum power density of 530 mW cm −2 at 0.7 V at 800 °C. The cell with Nd 2 Ni 0.9 Cu 0.1 O 4+δ cathode is the most stable in short-term test. A small amount of B-site doping in Nd 2 NiO 4+δ does not cause any change in the cathode microstructure. The study demonstrates that a tradeoff between oxygen transport properties and electrical conductivity can be accomplished by appropriate selection of transition metal and level of cation B-site doping in Nd2NiO4+δ. Nd2Ni0.9M0.1O4+δ (M = Co, Cu) can be considered to be potential cathode materials in IT-SOFCs.
