The unique properties of cesium compounds have garnered increasing attention, among which Cs 2 Ti 6 O 13 shows great potential for applications. This paper synthesized Cs 2 Ti 6 O 13 (CTO-3) using a template-assisted solvothermal method with cesium carbonate as the cesium source and tetrabutyl titanate as the titanium source. Among them, F127 and hexadecylamine are used as template agents to modulate the surface morphology and hydrophilicity of the precursor. The cesium ion sieve H 2 Ti 6 O 13 (HTO-3) synthesized after hydrochloric acid pickling has a large specific surface area and good hydrophilicity. This structure is conducive to the ion exchange between Cs + and H + , resulting in a fast adsorption rate. It is completed within 2 h, and the adsorption capacity reaches 360 mg/g, which is significantly greater than that of the traditional high-temperature solid-phase method. The adsorption process of Cs + on HTO-3 is more consistent with the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation model, and the adsorption process is chemical adsorption. HTO-3 exhibited good selectivity and cycle stability. At the fifth time of the adsorption-resolution cycle, the adsorption capacity was 87.1 % of the first time.

The amidoxime -modified X-type zeolite (AO-XZ) was successfully prepared by using X-type zeolite (XZ) as a carrier, iminodiacetonitrile (IDAN) as a nitrile-based precursor, and loading the amidoxime group onto the XZ. Mesoporous structure of XZ was unchanged after modification and the mechanism of adsorption is ion exchange. The adsorption behavior followed the pseudo-secondary kinetics, indicating that chemical adsorption is dominant. The Langmuir model had a good fitting effect (R 2 ≈ 0.9931), indicating that the adsorption process is dominated by single-layer uniform adsorption, and the maximum adsorption capacity of AO-XZ towards Cs + by Langmuir fitting was 222.2 mg/g. The process of Cs + adsorption by AO-XZ has high adsorption rate (greater than90%) under neutral conditions and common ion competition. Besides, in the dynamic experiment, the adsorption reached the point of failure after 14 h. The above results indicate that AO-XZ has good potential for removing Cs + from radioactive wastewater in future practical applications.
Novel Prussian blue/natural porous framework nanocomposites (PB@Apple, PB@Corn stalk and PB@Pomelo peel) were successfully produced in aqueous solution via an in situ γ radiation method. They have layered porous structure with 70–100 nm irregular PB, regular polygonous porous structure with 50–70 nm cubic PB and hierarchical porous structure with 10–20 nm spherical PB, respectively. They exhibit good Cs + adsorption properties and have maximal Cs + adsorption capacities of 67.3, 62.1 and 83.8 mg g −1 , which can be used to treat radioactive wastewater. This production method is simple, efficient and environmental-friendly.
