In this paper, the perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with the structure of FTO glass/compact TiO 2 /mesoporous TiO 2 /CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 /carbon electrode were designed and fabricated. The CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 absorption layers were prepared using one-step solvent-engineering method. The effects of volume ratios of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and molar ratios of PbI 2 to CH 3 NH 3 I (MAI) on structure and morphology of CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 absorption layers, as well as photovoltaic performance of PSCs were studied. The results show that the PSCs based on a specific ratio of PbI 2 :MAI = 1:1.4 and DMSO:DMF = 1:3 exhibited an optimal photovoltaic performance, yielding an open-circuit voltage (V oc ) of 0.72 V, short-circuit current density (J sc ) of 25.98 mA/cm 2 , fill factor (FF) of 0.46, and power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 8.45%. And the incident photon-to-electron conversion efficiency (IPCE) is close to 85% between 400 and 600 nm visible region.

A film of perovskite-type LaFeO 3 nanoparticles (NPs) was deposited on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) conducting glass via dipping-lifting and calcination. Scanning electron microscopy shows that the NPs are evenly distributed on the surface of the glass. The modified glass was further coated with antibody against human interleukin 6 (IL-6) to result in a photoelectrochemical immunosensor for IL-6. The well-established photoelectrochemical immunoassay has a linear current response in the range of 0.1 pg·mL −1 to 0.1 μg·mL −1 and a detection limit as low as 33 fg·mL −1 . Schematic of a novel photoelectochemical immunoassay for the measurement of IL-6 based on perovskite-type LaFeO3 nanoparticles. The immunoassay had a higher sensitivity and may also be applied to other bioanalysis and environment monitoring.

Organometal trihalide perovskites have been attracting intense attention due to their enthralling optoelectric characteristics. Thus far, most applications focus on polycrystalline perovskite, which however, is overshadowed by single crystal perovskite with superior properties such as low trap density, high mobility, and long carrier diffusion length. In spite of the inherent advantages and significant optoelectronic applications in solar cells and photodetectors, the fabrication of large-area laminar perovskite single crystals is challenging. In this report, an ingenious space-limited inverse temperature crystallization method is first demonstrated to the in situ synthesis of 120 cm 2 large-area CH 3 NH 3 PbBr 3 crystal film on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass. Such CH 3 NH 3 PbBr 3 perovskite crystal film is successfully applied to narrowband photodetectors, which enables a broad linear response range of 10 −4 –10 2 mW cm −2 , 3 dB cutoff frequency ( f 3 dB ) of ≈110 kHz, and high narrow response under low bias −1 V.
