As a promising energy converter, triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) demonstrates unparalleled advantages. However, its performance is extremely affected by wear, tear and damage of the functional materials during triboelectrification. In this work, by incorporating tridentate pincer ligand moieties into a linear polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) chain, the Zn-Pdca-PDMS elastomer for triboelectric layer was synthesized with excellent viscoelastic behaviors , super-stretchability (>5200%), self-healing ability and transparency. As a newly developed strategy, the strength of metal-ligand complex could be tuned efficiently by changing molar ratio of metal ions and ligands and three kinds of anions (CF 3 SO 3 − , BF 4 − , ClO 4 − ) to adapt the desirable material performances. Subsequently, a stretchable, self-healable and transparent Zn-Pdca-PDMS based TENG (ZPP-TENG) was fabricated. With the molar ratio of Zn 2+ to Pdca-PDMS ligand of 2:1, it exhibits the best output performance of 145 V, 6.7 nC cm −2 and 0.74 μA cm −2 , respectively. The self-healable ZPP-TENG was employed as energy harvester to light up LEDs and charge a capacitor to driven electronic watch effectively. Even after several cutting-healing cycles, the output performance of the ZPP-TENG still maintain consistent. Finally, it was demonstrate to be employed a self-powered sensor for monitoring finger movement and pulse wave with excellent repeatability and stability.
Inspired by the compound eye superhydrophobic phenomenon, the hemispherical particles with a concave (HPCs) were prepared and self-assembled into a similar array structure. To improve the roughness and mechanical durability properties, the nanoscale Fe2O3 nanorods modified by 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorodecyltriethoxysilane (FSA) were coated on the particles (HPC@Fe2O3) and then the SiO2 particles modified by FSA were deposited onto HPC@Fe2O3 arrays to mimic the nanoscale nipples of a compound eye. The obtained arrays show excellent superhydrophobic properties (the contact angle is 175°, and the sliding angle is 3.5°), which are mainly attributed to the stable micro/nanoscale air-cushion structure’s greatly reduced contact of water drops. After that, the self-healable poly(dimethylsiloxane) (NH2-PDMS) elastomer was introduced as a substrate, and the composite structure can be self-healed in 2 min at room temperature after being damaged, which greatly enhances the lifespan of the superhydrophobic film. This kind of biomimicry material combining the superhydrophobic with the self-healable property has promising applications in artificial skins, wearable devices, and so on.

In this study, the high-performance PDMS elastomer was successfully prepared by constructing epoxy/silicone hybrid network through hydrosilylation and epoxide-opening reaction. The tensile strength , elongation at break and shear strength of the prepared hybrid material were increased by 200.0%, 59.6%, 140.6% respectively when compared with the pure PDMS. The thermal residual weight of the hybrid material at 800 °C in N 2 was kept at 56.9%. The thermal degradation mechanism of hybrid material was investigated through TG-IR analysis. Friedman technique was used to compute the kinetic parameters of degradation reaction. Meanwhile, the composition and structure of residual char of hybrid material after thermal degradation at 800 °C was systematically characterized. Results indicated that the high-performance PDMS elastomer with excellent thermal and mechanical properties was expected to be applied in many prospects such as thermal protective coating, high temperature resistant adhesive and ablative material matrix.
