生化机理
Binds to actin and affects the structure of the cytoskeleton. At high concentrations, profilin prevents the polymerization of actin, whereas it enhances it at low concentrations. By binding to PIP2, it inhibits the formation of IP3 and DG. Inhibits androgen receptor (AR) and HTT aggregation and binding of G-actin is essential for its inhibition of AR.

Profilin 1 Mouse mAb (Biotin) (Ab220752) - IF/ICC IF analysis of Profilin 1 (red) in HeLa cells. The cells were fixed and permeabilized with 100% methanol for 5 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Profilin 1 Mouse mAb (Biotin) (Ab220752) at a dilution of 1/1000 in blocking buffer for 2 hour at RT and then incubated with Recombinant Streptavidin Protein (AF647) (rp181946) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark. Cells were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Images were taken on the confocal laser scanning microscope.
