Factor X- gla domainless was prepared from purified Human Factor X using alpha-chymotrypsin. The alphachymotrypsin and all other products were removed using an anion exchange column after digestion.
The above protein was purified from Human plasma units that test negative for antibodies to HBc, HCV, HIV 1/2, HTLV-I/II, and non reactive for HBsAg, HIV-1 RNA, HCV RNA, HBV DNA and Syphilis by FDA approved tests. Donors are screened for CJD.
