L-Fucose is a naturally occurring deoxy-hexose monosaccharide. It predominantly exists in the L-configuration in nature, and serves as an important building block for various glycoproteins, glycolipids and microbial exopolysaccharides. It participates in critical biological processes including cell-cell recognition, immune response, and host-pathogen interactions.
This product is a ready-to-use sterile solution at a concentration of 100 μg/mL, sterilized by filtration through a 0.22 μm membrane. It is suitable for supplementation into microbial culture media, metabolic studies of fucose-containing glycoconjugates, and other related biological experiments.
