Modeling experiments in animal models of cholelithiasis

Summary

Cholelithiasis (cholelithiasis) is a common gastrointestinal disease that occurs in the gallbladder and bile ducts and has a high incidence. Cholelithiasis is the result of a combination of factors, with high morbidity and postoperative recurrence rate, which seriously affects people's life and health. Therefore, it is very necessary to establish a reasonable animal model applied to the study of cholelithiasis. Although the research on cholelithiasis has made great progress in recent years with the development of medicine, the clinical research on the treatment of cholelithiasis is facing great difficulties, and the establishment of animal models of cholelithiasis (animal models of cholelithiasis) provides a new way for the clinical research of cholelithiasis and the study of drugs. Currently, there are two main methods for modeling animal models of cholelithiasis: food induction method and foreign body implantation method.

Principle

The basic principles of cholelithiasis animal modeling experiments are

1. Biliary infections Bacterial infections can cause inflammation in the gallbladder or bile ducts of animals, and the exudate in the exfoliated epithelium, mucus, and bacterial colonies act as the core of the gallstone formation, and the protein components in the exudate can act as the important contributing factors to the nucleation, which is conducive to the deposition of cholesterol, bilirubin, bile salts, and the gradual formation of stones.

2. Metabolic factors Under the influence of certain factors, cholesterol increases or lecithin and bile salts decrease. Under the influence of certain factors
, cholesterol increases or lecithin and bile salts decrease, the concentration of cholesterol in the bile increases, and it is easy to precipitate and aggregate with each other to form stones.
3. Bile stagnation The sphincter of Oddi muscle spasm, bile duct pressure and other factors caused by the weakening of gallbladder contraction, bile stagnation can make the bile water absorbed in excess of the bile concentration occurs, and the components of bile are naturally precipitated to form stones.
