Observational Experiments on Eye Worms, Plasmodium, Grasshopper and Amoebas

Principle

1. to understand the main features of Flagellates, Sarcopods and Ciliates by observing eye-worms, lacewings and amoebas. 2. to understand the main features of Sporozoa by observing the life history of Plasmodium and the basic morphology of each stage in sections. 3. to understand the main features of Sporozoa by observing the life history of Plasmodium and the basic morphology of each stage in sections.

Move

1. Observation of eye worms, Plasmodium, Plasmodium, Plasmodium oxysporum and Amoeba in vivo.
2. observation of life history of Plasmodium intermedius and basic morphology of each stage. 3. observation of longitudinal mounts of eye worms, transverse mounts of Plasmodium laminaria and jointed reproductive mounts.
3. observation of longitudinal division mounts of eye worms, transverse division and jointed reproductive mounts of Plasmodia.
4. tutorial: observation of mounts of Glomus, Luminous worms, Dysentery endoparasites, Trypanosomes, Foraminifera shells, Radiolaria shells mounts.

Common Problems

Operational:

(1) Compare and contrast the similarities and differences in the morphological structures of eye worms, malaria parasites, lacewings and amoebas.

(2) Draw a diagram of the morphological structure of Platyhelminthes.
