血红蛋白(Hemoglobin，Hb或HGB)是高等生物体内负责运载氧的一种蛋白质，是能使血液呈红色的蛋白，血红蛋白由四条链组成，两条α链和两条β链，每一条链有一个包含一个铁原子的环状血红素，Hb在氧含量高的区域容易与氧结合，在氧含量低的区域又容易与氧分离，血红蛋白的这一特性，使红细胞具有运输氧的功能。 现阶段，血红蛋白的检测方法主要包括：氰化高铁氧化法、碱羟测定法、十二烷基硫酸钠结合法、硫酸铜滴定法等进行血红蛋白测定，或者采用进口大型生化分析仪进行测定。氰化高铁氧化法因有氰化钾的剧毒操作问题和危废问题，硫酸铜滴定法存在自行配制误差大、易受环境温度影响等缺点，生化分析仪价格昂贵，测试成本高。 该试剂盒检测原理是除硫化血红蛋白(SHb)外，血液中的各种血红蛋白均可与十二烷基硫酸钠（SDS或SLS）作用，生成SLS-Hb棕色化合物，在538nm处的吸光度与浓度成正比，根据测得的吸光度（A）可求得血红蛋白的浓度。本产品用于测定血液中血红蛋白的含量，可辅助诊断贫血、失血等情况。本产品仅用于科研领域，不适用于临床诊断或其他用途。
Hemoglobin (Hb or HGB) is a protein responsible for transporting oxygen in higher organisms and is the protein that gives blood its red color. Hemoglobin is composed of four chains: two α chains and two β chains, each containing a heme group with an iron atom. Hemoglobin readily binds to oxygen in areas with high oxygen concentration and easily dissociates from it in areas with low oxygen concentration. This property of hemoglobin enables red blood cells to transport oxygen. Currently, the primary methods for hemoglobin detection include the cyanmethemoglobin oxidation method, alkaline hematin determination, sodium lauryl sulfate binding method, and copper sulfate titration method. Alternatively, imported large-scale biochemical analyzers are used for measurement. The cyanmethemoglobin oxidation method involves the toxicity and hazardous waste issues associated with potassium cyanide. The copper sulfate titration method is prone to preparation errors and is easily affected by environmental temperature. Biochemical analyzers, on the other hand, are expensive and have high testing costs. The detection principle of this kit is based on the fact that, with the exception of sulfhemoglobin (SHb), all forms of hemoglobin in the blood can react with sodium lauryl sulfate (SDS or SLS) to form a brown SLS-Hb complex. This complex exhibits an absorption peak at 538 nm, and its absorbance is directly proportional to the hemoglobin concentration. The hemoglobin concentration can be calculated based on the measured absorbance (A). This product is used to measure hemoglobin content in blood, aiding in the diagnosis of conditions such as anemia and blood loss. This product is intended for research purposes only and is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or other uses.
