Krytox™ XHT（极端高温）润滑油（脂）使用基础油、增稠剂和化学添加剂来产生高低粘度，适合在相当高的温度下使用。
虽然大多数石油产品会在低于 99℃ (210℉) 时开始降解，并在刚低于 -18℃ (0℉) 时变得相当粘稠，但 Krytox™ XHT 高性能润滑油（脂）的工作温度范围（-70℃ 至 360℃ [-94℉ 至 680℉]）却更加广泛。如果用于合适的冶金工况并定期进行再润滑，Krytox™ XHT 润滑脂和润滑油能够在高达 400℃ (752℉) 的温度下工作。
Krytox™ XHT 润滑油（脂）的特性和优势

Lubricating oil (grease) that can easily cope with extreme working conditions
Krytox ™ XHT (Extreme High Temperature) lubricating oil (grease) uses base oil, thickeners, and chemical additives to produce high and low viscosity, suitable for use at relatively high temperatures.
Although most petroleum products begin to degrade below 99 ℃ (210 ℉) and become quite viscous just below -18 ℃ (0 ℉), Krytox ™ The working temperature range of XHT high-performance lubricating oil (grease) is wider (-70 ℃ to 360 ℃ [-94 ℉ to 680 ℉]). If used for suitable metallurgical conditions and regularly lubricated, Krytox ™ XHT grease and lubricating oil can operate at temperatures up to 400 ℃ (752 ℉).
Krytox ™ Characteristics and advantages of XHT lubricating oil (grease)
In addition to being able to operate at extreme temperatures, Krytox ™ XHT lubricating oil (grease) also has the following characteristics and advantages:
- Non flammable: Krytox ™ High performance lubricating oil (grease) contains only carbon, oxygen, and fluorine. Because it does not contain hydrogen, it neither burns nor supports combustion, even in 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen.
- Chemical inertness: Krytox ™ High performance lubricating oil (grease) not only has oxygen resistance, but also hardly reacts with any chemical substances. Except for liquids with high fluorine content and some supercritical fluids (such as carbon dioxide), it is insoluble in most solvents.
- Thermal stability and oxidation stability: Differential thermal analysis shows that lubricating oil (grease) will deteriorate at around 470 ℃ (878 ℉) in the absence of air. After testing for 6 hours in a nitrogen environment at 371 ℃ (700 ℉), Krytox ™ The neutralization value of lubricating oil (grease) did not increase, and there was no significant change in viscosity. The presence of air does not significantly reduce Krytox ™ The decomposition point of lubricating oil (grease).
