摘要
Osteocalcin, a bone-specific biomarker, plays a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of various bone-related disorders. Traditional methods for osteocalcin detection, such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and radioimmunoassay (RIA), suffer from drawbacks like time-consuming protocols, high costs, and the need for specialized equipment and trained personnel. The development of point-of-care (POC) testing devices has the potential to overcome these limitations and revolutionize bone disorder management. In this paper, we present a novel POC based immunoelectrochemical sensor for the rapid, sensitive, and selective detection of osteocalcin. We demonstrate the sensor's compatibility with portable electrochemical sensing devices, making it an ideal tool for POC applications in resource-limited settings and emergency situations.
