摘要
Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) is a promising alternative for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to abundant resources and low cost. Herein, a series of composites, CDC/SbSxx (xx means weight content of Sb 2 S 3 ), composed from catkin derived carbon (CDC) material, possessing tube-like morphology, and Sb 2 S 3 fine particles prepared by solvothermal method were selected as anodes for SIBs. The electrochemical property results demonstrated that the CDC/SbSxx electrodes afforded improved cycling stability and enhanced rate performance due to the higher Sb 2 S 3 particle retention ability and improved electric conductivity . Furthermore, the content of Sb 2 S 3 played in important role in electrochemical performance. The CDC/SbS15 composite electrode accommodated a higher Sb 2 S 3 content (16.8 wt%) and exhibited improved discharge capacity and excellent cycling performance even at a high current density. Given the cost effectiveness and material sustainability, this work provides a potential strategy to develop low-cost and sustainable composite anode for advanced SIBs.
