Drug loaded on aramid nanofibrils-metal organic framework composites for the combined antibacterial properties

Antibacterial materials play an essential role in the modern life, and many efforts have been made to establish effective ones. Mental organic frameworks (MOFs) were deposited on aramid nanofibrils (ANF) to form antibacterial ANF/MOFs composites, and utilized as drug encapsulation carriers. The ANF/MOFs composites possessed high drug loading capacity and sustained drug release property (e.g., sustained release for > 8 h), their combination with antibacterial drugs provided a feasible strategy for the efficient bacterial sterilization favorable in broad fields.
