摘要
This study investigates the efficacy of chewable tablets made from the Pleurotus djamor zinc polysaccharide (PCT-Zn) against the nonylphenol (NPs) induced male reproductive damage in mice. The trial takes the form of constructing a model by infusing NPs into mice, followed by treatment with PCT-Zn solution infusion 1 h later, for a total of 8 weeks. It is found that PCT-Zn shows potential effects on increasing the testicular coefficients, enhancing the antioxidant activities, and inhibiting the apoptotic and inflammatory responses, which indicate that PCT-Zn has the effect of alleviating the NPs-induced reproductive damage. The results of the experiment suggest that the P. djamor zinc polysaccharide can be used as a dietary supplement to develop appropriate products to alleviate reproductive damage caused by environmental pollutants.
