摘要
The superior performance anode material has been the foremost challenge of sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). In this study, we report a facile strategy to synthesis TiO 2 /multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) composite through sol–gel methods. TiO 2 coupled with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) increases the specific surface area and provides rich interfaces, which is conducting shuttle and transfer of Na + in the system; the carbon coating as a buffer layer can effectively inhibit the volume expansion during insertion/extraction of Na + process. When applied as anode material for SIBs, the as-prepared TiO 2 /MWCNTs delivers high reversible capacities of 226 mAh g −1 after 140 cycles at 0.1 A g −1 . The crystal structure and morphology of TiO 2 /MWCNTs materials were also characterized by XRD, TEM, and SEM.
