摘要
Graphical Foaming at the mouth of the catalyst : NiCo 2 O 4 @NiMoO 4 core−shell hybrid nanostructure was successfully prepared by hydrothermal calcination method. The nanostructure is a low cost and relatively stable electrocatalytic water splitting catalyst. The NiCo 2 O 4 @NiMoO 4 /NF-8 h nanorod electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity with a low voltage 1.55 V and stability with long hour electrolysis, which is highly satisfactory for a prospective bifunctional electrocatalyst. Splitting water to make hydrogen is one of the most effective ways to solve the energy crisis. In this paper, we started with the catalysts of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) of electrocatalytic water splitting, studied the catalysts with great stability and practicality, and designed NiCo 2 O 4 nanowires as precursors, on whose surface we set NiMoO 4 nanosheets. Cobalt elements were introduced on the nickel foam with electrocatalytic properties, and a flower-like NiCo 2 O 4 @NiMoO 4 core-shell hybrid nanostructure was prepared by a hydrothermal method. The series of core-shell nanocatalysts were characterized via XRD, SEM, XPS, etc. The electrochemical properties of the obtained catalysts were also measured, and the conclusion that the catalysts could reduce the overpotential of the reaction required was figured out. The conclusion of the overpotential of catalyzing the water splitting reaction provides new ideas for the research of the catalyst for electrocatalytic water splitting reaction.
