摘要
The technique -- chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is known for its atom economy, simple preparation steps in catalyst preparation as well as high catalytic activity of the catalysts made by this method and was applied to the preparation of copper modified catalysts supported on Linde Type A zeolite membrane/paper-like stainless steel fibers (LTA/PSSF) in this work. A series of catalysts were prepared for acetone oxidation . Several techniques were carried out to characterize the catalysts including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy disperse X-ray spectrometer (EDS) mapping, X-ray photoelectron spectrum (XPS), N 2 adsorption and desorption isotherms as well as H 2 -temperature programmed reduction (H 2 -TPR). The results of the SEM showed that the zeolite membrane grew successfully on the surface of PSSF support, and the EDS illustrated that the copper oxides coated on the support materials uniformly. The Cu/LTA/PSSF catalyst prepared by CVD was tested in a zeolite membrane reactor . The experimental results revealed that higher loading results in better catalytic activity as the 10% Cu/LTA/PSSF-CVD presented the highest catalytic activity in acetone oxidation (90% of acetone converted at 300 °C) when compared with 5% Cu/LTA/PSSF-CVD (322 °C) and 1% Cu/LTA/PSSF-CVD (305 °C). The CVD method is proved to be a feasible and powerful way to prepare the catalyst. The experimental results suggested that the T90 of the 10% Cu/LTA/PSSF-CVD is slightly higher than that of 10% Cu/LTA/PSSF- impregnation (IM, 310 °C) and much better than that of granular Cu/LTA catalyst (346 °C), though the T50 (268 °C) is slightly lower than 10% Cu/LTA/PSSF-IM (260 °C).
