Graphical Upconversion applied in logic gate : The Upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) give multi emissions when excited by midrange IR radiation. A ternary logic system is designed which combines the unique characters of UCNPs with the ensemble of DNA. By regulating the emission of UCNPs, this logic system involvs more than two states, and the density of information can be increased.
