摘要
Color conversion, long-wavelength light emission by absorbing short wavelength light using color conversion materials, is not only the basis for successful operation of many contemporary display and lighting technologies, but also the most effective strategy for shielding harmful UV and blue light. However, high cost and complicated processing inevitably hinder the development of color conversion materials. Inspired by FeCl 3 solution, color-conversion cellulose films with low haze and high transparency were successfully prepared by the coordination and stacking of Fe 3+ . For the first time, it was found that when the coordinated Fe 3+ forms a stacked layer, the film blocks the entire UV and high-energy blue light (HEBL) region (400–450 nm), and the absorbed UV and HEBL is converted into low energy (long wavelength) light in the yellow and green regions. The films also demonstrate efficient blue light conversion and allows other light in the visible region to enter smoothly. The light conversion performance of the films is substantiated through their application on blue-, green-, and red-LEDs. By means of light absorption and conversion, the films are capable of efficiently screening blue light emitted by WLEDs in lighting systems, video game console screen, computer screen, and mobile phone screen, as well as UV radiation from the sun. Encouragingly, the incorporation of Fe 3+ enables films to achieve an exceptional flame-retardant feature. These films as color conversion materials will have wide applicability in eye protection and flexible photoelectric devices due to their exceptional combination performance and are highly suitable for large-scale continuous production.
