摘要
Transition metal sulfides have shown promise for high lithium storage capacities, but their conductivity and volume effects have limited their potential as anodes for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). This study focused on structural design and developed Fe-doped Ni 3 S 2 nanocrystals embedded in porous carbon composites with a unique root-whisker-like structure. The porous and root-whisker morphology accelerated ion diffusion rates and reduced charge-transfer resistance, improving electrochemical reaction kinetics. The material exhibits a high capacitance-controlled capacity contribution of up to 90.19 %. Additionally, Distribution of Relaxation Times analysis confirms a faster electrochemical response. The strategy proposed in this work provides valuable guidance for designing carbon-based composite anodes for LIBs.
