摘要
Antibacterial hydrogels have attracted much attention in skin tissue engineering due to their superior ability to prevent infection. In this study, we developed an antibacterial hydrogel using a multi-active site N- halamine - modified dopamine-hyaluronic acid hydrogel. The in vitro antibacterial efficacy of the hydrogel exhibited 99.99 % against both Gram-negative Escherichia coli and Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus , while also demonstrating excellent biocompatibility. Furthermore, in Escherichia coli- infected skin wounds, the hydrogels effectively suppressed infection and significantly accelerated wound healing. These findings suggest that N -halamine-modified dopamine-hyaluronic acid antibacterial hydrogels have great potential as wound dressings for preventing infection and promoting the healing of infected wounds.
