摘要
B/N co-doped porous carbons (BNCs) with abundant micropores were developed by a microwave-introduced heating and activator-free strategy. The thermal decomposition of the dopant NH 4 B 5 O 8 ·4 H 2 O) creates well-developed micropore architecture in BNC-180, achieving a remarkable specific surface area of 891 m 2 g −1 and a pore volume of 0.46 cm 3 g −1 , significantly surpassing the non-doped sample C-180 (605 m 2 g −1 ). Additionally, incorporating high levels of B and N into the carbon skeleton modified the functional group species and electron distribution, enhanced electrical conductivity, and boosted electrochemical performance. Compared with C-180 (93.0 F g −1 ), the as-prepared BNC-180 manifests a specific capacitance of 219.0 F g −1 at 0.5 A g −1 in a three-electrode configuration with a striking rate performance of 83.8 % at 10 A g −1 , implying that the porosity and surface chemical functional groups play a crucial role. Furthermore, the as-built symmetric supercapacitor shows a pronounced energy density of 13.4 Wh kg −1 at 375 W kg −1 , and still remained 10 Wh kg −1 at 7500 W kg −1 . The excellent durability was demonstrated by the outstanding cycling stability with a specific capacitance retention of 87.84 % after 20,000 cycles.
