摘要
In recent years, the adsorption and separation of ammonia (NH 3 ) from airflow have attracted growing attention. However, there is a need to further enhance the adsorption capacity of adsorbents. In this study, the amino-functionalization of UiO-66 was investigated to evaluate its dynamic NH 3 adsorption performance by varying the type and proportion of organic ligands. It was observed that the introduction of amino groups significantly enhanced the ammonia adsorption capacity by 78.5 %, despite a minor reduction in specific surface area and pore size. Combined with the results of density functional theory and in-situ infrared, the enhanced adsorption ability can be ascribed to the functionalization increasing the polarity within the pore, thereby strengthening interactions with ammonia molecules through weak hydrogen bonding.
