摘要
The non-enzymatic glucose sensor based on Cu 2 O is of low prices and easy to control morphology, but its conductivity is poor. Herein, we successfully synthesized a dendritic Cu-Cu 2 O composite nanoparticles by potentiostatic electrodeposition method. Compared with current Cu/Cu 2 O-based glucose sensors, the non-enzymatic glucose sensor fabricated using Cu/Cu 2 O in this study features a unique dendritic structure with three-dimensional fractal characteristics that significantly increases the electrochemical active area (ECSA). Moreover, its in situ electrodeposition fabrication requires no precious metals or carbon carriers, making it low-cost and highly controllable. The morphology was controlled by different deposition time and we investigated their capability for non-enzymatic glucose detection through electrochemical means. The Cu-Cu 2 O electrode deposited for 45 s exhibited the widest linear range of 0.05–24.65 mM, while the 15-second deposition sample showed the highest sensitivity of 837.57 μA mM −1 cm −2 . All obtained electrodes displayed significantly higher selectivity for glucose compared to other interfering substances and excellent stability.
