摘要
Catalytic hydrolysis reaction is an effective technology for treating industrial waste gas carbon disulfide (CS 2 ). However, catalyst deactivation caused by passivation of active sites and sulfate-induced sulfur poisoning remains a key obstacle to this technology. Here, a ternary composite system of Ti 0.05 Ce 0.8 La 0.2 O x was successfully constructed. Titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) was incorporated into the Ce 0.8 La 0.2 O x solid solution through mechanical grinding. The Ti 0.05 Ce 0.8 La 0.2 O x catalyst achieved the complete conversion of CS 2 at 140 °C and maintained stable performance within 320 h of continuous operation, which was significantly superior to the Ce 0.8 La 0.2 O x catalyst and previous reports. The research found that the incorporation of TiO 2 increased the diversity and density of surface hydroxyl groups (-OH), promoting the adsorption and dissociation of CS 2 . Meanwhile, it induced more lattice distortions, significantly increasing the concentration of oxygen vacancies in the catalyst and providing efficient active sites for the dissociation of water molecules (H 2 O). Importantly, the weak acidity of TiO 2 effectively regulates the distribution of basic sites on the catalyst surface, thereby reducing H 2 S adsorption and oxidation side reactions, and simultaneously inhibiting the irreversible accumulation of sulfates/sulfides. Therefore, this study provides valuable insights for the development of industrial-grade long-lasting organic sulfur hydrolysis catalysts.
