摘要
Transparent superamphiphobic materials have significant attraction in fundamental research and practical applications that demand light transmission and self-cleaning properties. However, the high haze of those traditional transparent superamphiphobic materials, caused by the visible light scattering of the surface rough structures, severely limits their applications on optical surfaces like electronic displays, optical lens, and building windows. Here, a high transparency and ultralow haze superamphiphobic material is reported, based on nanoscale reentrant structures with suppressed microscale structure, which is the main cause of haze. Nanoscale roughness effectively reduces visible light scattering, thus reducing haze (0.8%, nearly the same as pristine glass) and improving light transmittance (90.4%), and the material remains super-repellent to water and oils with excellent anti-fouling properties. This highly transparent and ultralow haze superamphiphobic material is expected to be be attractive in areas like optical devices, displays, windows and the photovoltaic industry.
