摘要
Perfluoropolyether (PFPE) is an excellent high-temperature lubricant; however, its poor affinity with additives such as MoS 2 , a common high-temperature lubricant additive, often leads to agglomeration and settling during storage, thereby reducing its tribological performance. To address this challenge, this study investigates the chemical grafting of MoS 2 using Trimethoxy (1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorodecyl) silane (TMFS), achieving stable MoS 2 dispersion in PFPE that remains effective for up to 180 days. The grafted MoS 2 exhibits remarkable thermal stability, maintaining its integrity without decomposition even at temperatures reaching 250 °C. Compared with pure PFPE, the modified lubricant demonstrates a remarkably 36.8 % reduction in coefficient of friction and an 81.6 % decrease in wear rate at 200 °C. This research provides crucial theoretical insights and practical guidance for the future design of high-performance high-temperature lubrication systems.
