摘要
Reduced graphene oxide (rGO) has attracted considerable interests as high-efficiency electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbers for eliminating the increasingly serious EMW pollution, owing to its excellent conductivity, light-weight, and large surface area. However, its practical applications are still hindered by the poor impedance matching and monotonous loss mechanism. In this work, IV-VI tin disulfide (SnS 2 ) with a similar layered structure to rGO is introduced, and SnS 2 /rGO composites are synthesized through a facile two-step hydrothermal method. Due to the improvement of the impedance matching, the SnS 2 /rGO composites exhibit an enhanced EMW absorption performance with a minimum reflection loss of −35.91 dB at a thickness of 4.0 mm and an effective absorption bandwidth of 3.3 GHz in the 2–18 GHz range, which is prior to individual component materials (SnS 2 and rGO) and even most rGO-based composites. Moreover, because of multiple loss mechanisms, the radar cross-section reduction of the SnS 2 /rGO composites can reach to 12.2 dBm 2 at an incidence angle of 0°. This work provides an effective approach to enhance the EMW absorption capacity of rGO and paves the way for the further applications of rGO and rGO-based composites.
