摘要
High entropy oxide (HEO) has shown great potential in the field of new photocatalytic materials due to its tunable composition and excellent thermal stability. In this paper, a high entropy rare earth oxide Er 2 Tm 2 Yb 2 Lu 2 Ho 2 O 15 composed of pure rare earth elements was synthesized by solid phase reaction method (SRM). Its structural and optical properties were investigated by various characterization techniques such as XRD, TEM, SEM and UV-DRS. The results showed that the material elements were uniformly distributed, with a wide light absorption range and abundant defects. To study the photocatalytic properties of the samples, Congo Red (CR) dye was degraded under visible light irradiation. The results show that the Er 2 Tm 2 Yb 2 Lu 2 Ho 2 O 15 high entropy material has excellent photocatalytic activity, showing a degradation rate of 99.2% to 20 mg/L Congo Red (CR) under visible light, showing remarkable stability in the cycle experiment, showing its potential to degrade organic pollutants. At the same time, free radical scavenging experiments and degradation mechanisms are also discussed. This work has reference value for the study of rare earth-based high entropy oxides.
