摘要

High-entropy perovskites (HEPs) have attracted significant attention due to their unique design concepts, excellent stability, and cocktail effect, which often endow them with extraordinary properties. However, their applications in the sensing field have been relatively underexplored. In this study, we prepared (La 0.2 Pr 0.2 Sm 0.2 Gd 0.3 Yb 0.1 )FeO 3 ((LPSGY)FO) high-entropy materials with varying A-site configuration entropy for the first time by the ultrasonic sequential precipitation method. This synthesis process is remarkably simple, as it requires neither complex equipment nor tedious steps, and it does not involve any auxiliary or modification treatments. Furthermore, this work primarily focuses on investigating the gas-sensing performance of (LPSGY)FO materials. Experimental results show that the (LPSGY)FO gas sensor responds exceptionally well to acetone (38.44) at lower temperatures (175℃), demonstrating rapid response/recovery time along with outstanding repeatability. Notably, its detection limit can reach as low as 200 ppb. This study demonstrates the promising application of high-entropy materials in gas sensing, showcasing their capability for high-performance detection under low-temperature conditions. The findings contribute to the ongoing development of cost-effective gas sensors and suggest directions for future research in this field.
