摘要
High-brightness and high-power laser lighting technology driven by blue laser diodes requires the development of thermally stable fluorescent conversion materials. Phosphor-in-glass-ceramics offers promising solutions for laser lighting applications due to their ease of synthesis and excellent thermal stability. In this study, Na 2 O-CaO-SiO 2 (NCS) glass matrix and LuAG phosphor were combined and processed using spark plasma sintering (SPS) at 600 °C to fabricate phosphor-in-glass (PIG). By controlling the crystallization process, LuAG phosphor-in-glass-ceramics (PIGC) incorporating Na 4 Ca 4 Si 6 O 18 microcrystals with a high crystallization degree of 89.5% and excellent luminescent properties was successfully prepared. Compared to LuAG-PIG, the luminous flux of LuAG-PIGC has risen by 43% under laser irradiation. LuAG-PIGC achieves the LF of 910.3 lm and the LE of 316.8 lm/W. Under an excitation of 3.35 W, he PIGC sample exhibited a surface temperature of 169.3 °C, which was 92 °C lower than that of the PIG sample without the use of an external heatsink. These results indicate that LuAG-PIGC possesses excellent thermal stability and has significant potential as novel fluorescent conversion materials for laser lighting applications.
