摘要
LiCoO 2 (LCO) has found applications in a wide range of sophisticated domains due to its high compacted density and established market presence. However, low cycling stability and associated safety issues limit the indefinite use of high-pressure lithium cobaltate. Here, we employ wet chemistry to create a double-layer coating structure composed of conductive cyclized PAN (cPAN) and LiF nanoparticles on the surface of LCO. This structure significantly enhances electrical conductivity, reduces aging, and improves the cycling stability of LCO under high pressure. Additionally, it inhibits surface side reactions. The superior electrical conductivity of cPAN bolsters the conductive properties of the coating material while substantially decreasing its initial impedance. LiF coating further enhances the cycling and multiplication performance of high-voltage LCOs by minimizing surface side reactions and slowing electrolyte erosion of active materials. PAN@LiF@LCO cathode with synergistic effect shows good multiplication performance (1–4 C), good cycling stability, and high reversible capacity with capacity retention near 90 % after 100 cycles. This work provides a proactive strategy to identify the most practical and cost-effective means of improving the multiplication performance of the high-voltage LCO cathode materials.
