摘要
Graphical Cd-MOF-based carbon materials were successfully synthesized. The characterized materials were then utilized to investigate the removal efficiency of tetracycline hydrochloride. From these experiments, it can be concluded that Cd-MOF-based carbon materials exhibit a maximum adsorption capacity for tetracycline hydrochloride at pH 4 within five hours reaching up to an impressive value of 390.6 mg/g. In this study, carbon materials derived from cadmium metal–organic frameworks (Cd-MOFs) were successfully synthesized. The prepared Cd-MOFs materials were calcined (Cd-MOF-based carbon materials) at 800 °C, and its structural characteristics were systematically analyzed via Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy techniques. We assessed the effectiveness of these carbon materials in removing tetracycline (TC) hydrochloride. The results revealed that the adsorption process followed a second-order kinetic model and the Freundlich isotherm. Notably, the carbon materials achieved a maximum TC removal efficiency of 93.04% within 5 h. At pH of 4, the materials exhibited an excellent TC adsorption capacity of 390.6 mg/g. These achievements of Cd-MOF-based carbon materials demonstrate promising potential application values for future environmental applications.
