摘要
Hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is a key step in the production of hydrogen (H 2 ) by overall water splitting, which is of great significance for the storage and conversion of renewable energy. Nevertheless, the elevated excess potential and insufficient stability of catalysts constrain their industrial applicability. Due to the poor catalytic activity of NiWO 4 in alkaline solution, this study investigated the effect of IB metal (IB=Au, Ag, Cu) ion doping and its interaction with different concentrations of IB x /NiWO 4 ( X = 1,2,3,4 mmol) on catalytic activity to achieve stable H 2 in alkaline media. In 1.0 M KOH solution, the current density is 10 mA cm −2 , the Au 3 /NiWO 4 exhibits a low overpotential is 86.11 mV, the slope of Tafel is 115.16 mV dec −1 , and the overpotential of Ag 3 /NiWO 4 is 168.41 mV, with a Tafel slope of 64.32 mV dec −1 , the catalyst also showed long term stability for 150 h, the Au 3 /NiWO 4 NF‖Au 3 /NiWO 4 NF catalysts achieved a low voltage of 1.45 V at 10 mA cm −2 current density for 100 h. The synergistic interactions of bimetals present a novel approach for enhancing catalyst design and optimizing performance.
