摘要
In this study, CdIn 2 S 4 nanomaterials with tuneable morphologies were fabricated by applying a single-step hydrothermal method and were employed as anode materials for use in high-performance sodium-ion batteries. Compared to that of the microsphere sample, the hollow nanosphere architecture favoured an enhanced cycling performance because its void space efficiently mitigated volumetric expansion and reduced the transport distances for Na + and electrons, facilitating accelerated reaction kinetics. The hollow CdIn 2 S 4 nanosphere sample exhibited a high specific capacity and superior rate capability and an excellent cycling stability. This study demonstrates the structural advantages of the synthesised hollow architecture in terms of application as electrode materials.
