摘要
Controlling parasitic interface reactions and the Li dendrite growth remains challenging for all-solid-state (ASS) Li batteries, though the progress in Li-ion transport of solid electrolytes (SEs). Herein, ZnO and ZrO 2 oxides are used as dopants to synthesize Li 7 P 3 S 11 (LPS) glass SEs through mechanochemical synthesis . The oxide doping not only improves the ionic conductivity and air stability of LPS SEs, but more importantly also enhances the chemical stability in the interface of Li|SE as well as the Li dendrite suppression capability. Combining FIB milling with SEM-EDS detection, transversal Li dendrite deposition and growth are disclosed to occur inside the interface layer. The ASS battery using the oxide-doped LPS SE and metallic Li anode significantly outperforms that with the O-free LPS, demonstrating the merits of oxide doping toward advancing sulfide SEs.
