Synthesis and Anti-Tumor Activity of New Isatin Derivatives

Abstract A series of new isatin derivatives was synthesized and evaluated for anti-proliferative activity against SNU-398 and LO2 cells through CCK-8 assay. Among them, 3-{2-[4-(benzyloxy)phenyl]-2-oxoethyl}-3-hydroxy-1-phenethylindolin-2-one exhibited the most inhibitory activity against SNU-398 cells (IC 50 = 6.69 μM), which could be as a lead compound to develop more potent anti-tumor agents.
