摘要
Creating an efficient, resilient, and low-cost material for hydrogen evolution is a tough task that has paid the attention by many researchers. Here, we present the in situ formation of non-noble metal CN@CoP heterojunction catalysts for photocatalytic hydrogen generation through a simple phosphorization technique. Consequently, the modified CN@CoP photocatalyst demonstrates an enhanced hydrogen evolution rate of 1.818 mol g −1 h −1 and superior hydrogen production stability. The results of UV–vis DRS , PL and EIS indicate that the core-shell CN@CoP heterostructure shows a faster photo-generated charge transfer. The fascinating photocatalytic performance is mainly due to the enhanced charge carrier separation efficiency and the increasing active sites, which are produced by the heterojunction.
