Fabrication of TiO2/CeO2/PPS corrosion protective hydrophobic coating by air spraying

The TiO 2 /CeO 2 /PPS composite coating is prepared by air spraying method. The introduction of TiO 2 and CeO 2 into the PPS substrate significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the composite coating , and the electrochemical corrosion current density reduces two orders of magnitude. The coating is surface-modified with cetyltrimethoxysilane and has good hydrophobicity , so it has excellent anti-fouling and self-cleaning ability. It has the advantages of low processing cost and simple preparation method compared with other anti-corrosion coatings, since the coating is only prepared by a physical mixing method and does not involve complex chemical reactions, which possess the potential for practical application.
