摘要
In this paper, a novel hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC)-assisted carbon-coating method was developed to synthesize LiFePO 4 /C composites. The structure and morphological transformation of the as-prepared samples were studied using a combination of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy. The particles of the samples obtained were more homogeneous than the reference sample prepared without the addition of HEC and the coated carbon were more uniformly distributed on the LiFePO4 surface. In addition, the HEC-assisted sample exhibited higher capacities and better rate capability in the charge-discharge test, and the charge transfer resistance calculated from the electrochemical impedance spectra data was smaller.
