摘要
Bimetallic PtSn catalysts in propane dehydrogenation (PDH) have suffered from rapid deactivation due to the segregation of Pt and Sn atoms at high temperatures, weakening its interactions. Herein, this work proposed an innovative dual-regulation strategy that modified the Sn precursor and incorporated potassium (K) modification to construct a Sn m -O x -K n promoter unit with a strong interaction with the γ-Al 2 O 3 support. Such a structure not only stabilized the PtSn active phase but also precisely tuned the electronic structure of Pt 0 -Pt δ+ , further evoking exceptional PDH performance. Under comparable conditions, the optimized PtSn/KAl 2 O 3 -Sn(acac) 2 catalyst (Pt δ+ /Pt 0 = 1.57) achieved enviable propane conversion (∼50.9%) and propylene selectivity (∼99.5%) with a remarkably low deactivation rate of 0.003 h −1 . Advanced characterization techniques confirmed that the unique Pt 0 -Pt δ+ active phase effectively suppressed the formation of carbon precursors (e.g., single-ring aromatics and alkyne) during deep dehydrogenation, while promoting the desorption of propylene and hydrogen. This work offers valuable insights and theoretical foundations for the development of efficient and carbon-resistant PtSn catalysts for PDH reaction.
