摘要
The development of reliable diabetes management and precision medicine has driven the need for real-time glucose monitoring technologies that offer long-term stability. However, conventional enzymatic sensors are constrained by the inherent instability of enzymes. To address this limitation, we engineered a non-enzymatic optical fiber sensor by integrating molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) technology with surface plasmon resonance (SPR). A key innovation lies in the successful construction of an MIP-based sensing interface featuring specific recognition cavities on a U-shaped optical fiber probe. Characterization confirmed its effective "imprinting-elution-rebinding" capability, while performance tests demonstrated a sensitivity of 9.875 nm/log(mM) within the 0.5-10 mM concentration range, coupled with a rapid response (time≤14 s) and outstanding specificity. The sensing strategy introduced here sets a new benchmark, delivering a powerful blend of specificity, speed, and stability that is essential for practical real-time glucose monitoring in complex biological media.
