摘要
The escalating integration of aviation electronic systems has exacerbated thermal dissipation challenges and water vapor condensation issues, significantly compromising equipment longevity under complex operational conditions. This study presents a novel two-step spraying methodology for developing spherical silica/nano-boron nitride (BN)-based composite multifunctional superhydrophobic coatings, addressing the critical failure mechanisms associated with thermal and moisture-induced breakdowns in electronic assemblies. Experimental protocol involved preparing two composite suspensions by incorporating micron-scale spherical SiO 2 particles and BN nanoparticles into separate beakers containing ethyl acetate, polyurethane, and 1H, 1H, 2H, 2H-Perfluorooctanetriethoxysilane (POTS) as the hydrophobic modifier. These formulations were subsequently applied via spray deposition to create a hierarchical superhydrophobic coating on graphene-modified composite membranes. Optimization of mass ratio parameters revealed that a 3:1 of SiO 2 : BN composition yielded optimal surface characteristics, exhibiting a static water contact angle (WCA) of 161.7°, indicative of exceptional superhydrophobic properties. The results demonstrate homogeneous material mixing with stabilized structure and significantly reduced surface energy. The composite superhydrophobic coating markedly enhanced the thermal conductivity of graphene composite membranes while forming a uniform microstructure. Performance tests revealed exceptional self-cleaning and anti-fouling properties without contaminant residues, with high hydrophobicity maintained even after exposure to harsh environments. This study provides a practical solution for aviation electronics protection, simultaneously achieving superhydrophobicity, enhanced thermal dissipation, and extended service life under extreme conditions, demonstrating significant potential for next-generation aerospace electronic encapsulation.
